This may sound quite strange, but I had already started picturing myself as a dentist while I was in high school. During my freshman year, I began thinking about what I wanted from my future career. I knew I wanted to change the lives of other people for the better, and I knew I wanted to work with my hands. I did not know exactly how those two things would come together yet, so I started shadowing different medical professionals. That experience eventually introduced me to the side of dentistry that really excited me. It was the fusion of medicine, art, and engineering. Once I saw how those three could come together through dentistry, the career path started to feel like the best fit. Looking back, I never could have guessed that dentistry would become more than just my profession. It would become something I genuinely love. In fact, I am a little obsessed with teeth. My wife and friends will happily remind me of that, but I believe that passion is what keeps me invested in learning and delivering the level of care my patients deserve.

Hi, I’m Dr. Shivani! Returning home to practice dentistry has always been a dream of mine, and I’m excited to finally be here.
After completing my undergraduate studies at Rutgers University, I earned my DDS from NYU College of Dentistry. My interest in both art and science started at a young age, and dentistry gave me the opportunity to bring those passions together through creativity, precision, and hands-on care.
Coming back home after dental school was always my goal. It’s incredibly rewarding to care for the community that helped shape me. My goal is to provide high-quality, personalized dental care while making every patient feel comfortable, heard, and genuinely cared for. Building lasting relationships with my patients is one of the most fulfilling parts of what I do, and it inspires me to keep learning and growing every day.
When I’m away from the office, you’ll usually find me traveling, reading a good book, dancing, painting, or exploring the city with friends, especially if there’s great food involved.

I have had major anxiety going to the dentist. I feel so comfortable with Dr Sunny and his staff. Although I will always have that anxiety it is definitely not anywhere near what it use to be! Dr Sunny is truly amazing, kind and patient. He is very personable as well. The staff is great from the front desk, hygienists and check out. I have never had a bad experience! Highly recommend.

I must say, this practice is absolutely amazing. They truly have your best interest at heart. So clean and bright. All the staff from front to back including Dr. Sunny always maintain a positive attitude, and really put you at ease. My dentist forever now for reasons being pain free and timely services. I mean I actually show up for my dental appointments now! Lol! I had an dental emergency and they took me straight away. I love this practice and all the staff! Thanks!
